5. Jaffray

Dates: October 5, 2014

Additional Challenges Met:
4/5 Involving water/snow

Although Will and I have lived in Cranbrook for six years now and we have done a lot of exploring in the areas around us, we still have so much to see and do! We decided to spend a beautiful fall day in Jaffray, a town only 30 minutes away from us. Now, as some rule followers will notice, this breaks the rule of “has to be one hour away” but since we went as far as Baynes Lake and it’s almost an hour, we decided to count it! The weather was perfect- sunny and warm enough for a patio sit at the beautiful Jaffray pub for lunch and walks around Tie Lake and Rosen Lake. We loved driving down the roads and checking out the community, and enjoyed the peaceful feeling of sitting beside the still water on both lakes! A perfect fall day!
