At the beginning of February, I finally joined the 30 club! I had a fabulous time celebrating the beginning of this new decade with lots of awesome people! A few of us skied first, and then others joined us as the ski lodge for appy's, drinks and an ice cream bar! Everyone's "bright future" themed costumes made the room shine!

The weekend after the birthday festivities, we headed off the Calgary. Our good friends Krista and Mike live there, so we were able to celebrate with them all weekend long!
On Saturday, we took off for the snow, heading into Peter Lougheed Park in Kananaskis. We headed up to Chester Lake on our snowshoes. The path was awesome, and took us through some seriously beautiful country!
Unfortunately, both the snowshoes Will and I had up there broke on this trip! We had only used them 5 or so times, so we were fairly surprised. Luckily, the path was good enough for us to go without snowshoes.

We finished our day with an awesome dinner out at the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. The pizzas were great, especially the dessert pizza!

LOVE all of the snowy pictures! Nice work! The pizza and cake looks pretty awesome, too. Glad you enjoyed your birthday celebrations (and that you were able to stretch it over a week - woo!).
